Overview

SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, located on Yas Island, has many similarities to America’s SeaWorld parks, but it also offers a completely different kind of experience. For one, all 45 acres of the park are indoors and air-conditioned, with each themed area’s lighting and temperature specifically designed to mimic the local climate of the park’s resident animals. There is only one roller coaster that stretches outside. 

Although SeaWorld Abu Dhabi offers a full day’s worth of entertainment, including two world-class thrill rides and several family-friendly attractions, the park places more of an emphasis on the thrill of viewing marine animals in their enormous habitats than on holding on for dear life on a roller coaster. The majority of SeaWorld Abu Dhabi’s mammal residents were relocated here from substandard parks (not captured from the wild), and the only orcas you’ll see there are on enormous video screens because this Global Humane-certified facility goes to unprecedented lengths to ensure animal welfare and transparency.

• On the Plaza level, there are ATMs, prayer rooms, nurseries with feeding and changing areas, and smoking areas.
• The theatre itself offers valet parking, lockers, and strollers for an additional fee.

• Visitors are not allowed to bring food and beverages inside the park.
